Whisper Ridge is located within the District of Coldstream which neighbours the City of Vernon, the largest centre in the North Okanagan. The "Greater Vernon" area is a thriving urban center of 55,000+ residents. Well situated with a five hour drive west to Vancouver and six hours North East to Calgary, or a one hour flight in either direction (Kelowna International Airport is only an hour away).

The Okanagan Valley brings the outdoor skiing enthusiast, Silver Star Mountain Resort & Sovereign Lake Nordic Centre for winter activities. Golf is well represented as well with plenty of Golf Courses nearby to satisfy all levels of play. Vernon Golf & Country Club, Spallumcheen Golf & Country Club, Predator Ridge Golf Resort and Hillview Golf Course all within a short drive.

The Vernon British Columbia hikers and bikers are also very fortunate, with numerous hiking and cycling routes for all types of nature lovers. A unique linked trail system to discover Provincial and regional parks.
